Reviews Overview

Most Liked

Patrons rave about the Sunday lunches here, often highlighting the roast options and homemade dishes that never fail to satisfy. The vibe strikes the right balance between casual and vibrant, making it perfect for solo diners or groups. The selection of beers and wines also garners high praise, providing plenty of options for drink connoisseurs. Moreover, the dog-friendly nature of the pub is a big hit with locals, as many enjoy sipping a pint while their pets lounge at their feet. The attentive staff adds to the experience, making visitors feel right at home and valued.

Most Disliked

Some visitors mention that the pub can become quite busy, especially during peak hours like Thursday evenings. This can lead to longer wait times for food and drinks, which may detract from the overall experience. While the menu offers many great dishes, a few guests have suggested expanding some options, particularly in vegetarian and vegan cuisine. Additionally, those unfamiliar with the pub may find the initial navigation a bit confusing due to its bustling nature during peak times. However, the community charm and loyal customer base often outweigh these minor setbacks.

Lovely pub & amazing home cooked food! The chef has lived in Thailand & does a great Thai or Malaysian Curry (choose strength), Salmon & noodle dish recommended. Freshly cooked cheese & onion pie & jerk chicken burger on the menu today. The chips are proper home-cooked & highly recommended! We have never been disappointed with any meals here 😋 x
